Westbrook.! Variously known as Lyn, Lynette, Smartass, Amere Mortal, the barefoot contessa and Aunty Ogre, I am a sometimes serious, sometimes
off-the-wall-nutty 40-something artist. I have a warped and sometimes rather macabre
sense of humor, as well as a well developed taste for whimsy.

A Quick Overview of Amere Mortal Online
The Amere Mortal website is divided into
several areas which reflect my various talents and diverse interests.
The major sections are:
- The
Studio contains a gallery of the visual works
and whimsies that I have created, including original
paintings, drawings and sculpture, current works for sale,
project notes and commentary and more.
- Scribbles
Original prose, poetry, thoughts, rants.
- The Doghouse is inspired by my love of dogs, in
particular my
current girl Kassie, where
I promote animal rescue websites and provide my own dog
training tips and advice.
- Gift
Shop links you to my online store, hosted by
Cafepress in America. Here you will find a large range
of products such as tshirts, bumper stickers, ceramic keepsake ornaments and tiles
with original art, slogans, photography and decorations just begging to be snapped
up by savvy shoppers.
- Mugs
By Lyn is specifically for my local Australian
customers with details of my custom designed photo art mugs.
More than just a photo on a cup, I individually design each
mug to suit the photos, occasion and recipient.
- About
me
contains
some general background info on myself, as well as contact information.
- Links contains an
eclectic collection of links to other sites. Some are funny, some are other shopkeepers from
Cafepress who's work I admire, some belong to people I know, and just
generally any I feel like putting there!

New designs |

Two great new smartass designs are now available in my
store. One reads "You're So Vain (you probably think this
shirt is about you) parodying the old song, the other is aimed
at those who are sure a deep dark conspiracy exists, and the
text reads " I am one of 'them', and yes, we are out to get
you". This design comes in two versions, one plain black and
the other coloured.
Be sure to check out the new 'cardinal' dark t-shirts we

What is your child made
from? Some are made from sugar and spice, some have snails and
puppy dog tails, but if one of their parents (or yours) came
from another country, then perhaps they should be labelled
"Made from local and imported ingredients"! You'll find
this one and more in my New Designs section.

On A Roll - June/July |

it out. I've been busy creating new designs, a mixed bag
of cheeky human tees, dog tees, a kids design and even one for
geeks who dream in binary!! I am creating a new one nearly
every day, so bookmark me and check back often. Merry

Tees That Tease |
| Another in my line of naughty tees, this one for
the girls, reading "They feel even better than they
look". For the boys, I have placed this design on boxer
shorts, a little less public, but still a tease when
revealed. |
